The network shall have the
following objectives:
  
 
  • To build the capacity of members and raise awareness on sustainable development.
  • Increase the knowledge and practical experience of members on environmentally sustainable development issues.
  • Create a platform for gathering, collating and sharing experience and information on members and related activities. e.g. Publication of a newsletter.
  • Strengthen advocacy capacity of NGOs in the region.
  • To facilitate and build the momentum of inter and intra organizational collaborative linkages.
  • Influence national policy on development in the region with the view to reducing poverty.
