The MV DOULOS ship will be in Takoradi for almost one month from December 2002 till January 2003. This visit will be an exciting event for the whole community in and around Takoradi-Sekondi.

MV DOULOS
is also known for being the largest floating bookshop in the world with approx. 6000 titles. The wide range of subjects includes science, literature, the arts, cookery, hobbies, childrens and also christian literature.
The book shop shall be open from 10am to 9pm daily, except sunday 2pm to 9pm. The ship will berth at Takoradi Harbour.

The crew and staff on the ship are also involved in community development. Around the world the ships community has been involved in providing significant humanitarian relief in areas of need and tragedy.

The Ghana NGO Coalition on the Rights of the Child has a meeting on November 6th.
